Regarding COVID19

Changes to policies and procedures


A risk assessment for Nails On Point has been completed in line with reopening guidance in the wake of the COVID 19 virus pandemic.  The following changes are effective immediately.

Clients will be asked to wash hands immediately upon entering premises, and to don a mask if not already wearing one. Temperature checks will be made upon arrival.


Clients are asked to arrive for their appointment alone and with minimal numbers of additional items (shopping bags, etc.)


Use of phones during appointments is now prohibited. Clients may bring beverages but are requested to limit how many times their masks are removed and re-secured, as it requires re-sanitation of hands each time.


All appointments will be conducted to a “one in, one out” system, and the waiting area of the salon has been removed. If clients arrive early for their appointments, they should remain in their cars or otherwise outside the salon until their appointment time.


All items used during the appointment will be thoroughly disinfected or discarded between clients. This includes masks, linens, visors, gloves, aprons, instruments, and all work and seating surfaces.


Clients are asked to cancel their appointment if they have experienced ANY of the following symptoms:

  • A new cough, or any changes to an existing cough.

  • A temperature above 38º

  • A loss of or change in sense of taste or smell

A temporary surcharge of £5 will be added to each appointment to cover the costs of PPE and additional disinfection control measures.
